Join us for one of the region's premier business celebrations as the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce hosts its 139th Annual Dinner, presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. This year's event celebrates an extraordinary year for the Kansas City business community as our region stepped onto the global stage and embraced the lasting opportunities created through our spirit of welcome, cultural richness, and growing international connections.

When the world came to Kansas City, it discovered far more than an exceptional Midwestern city. It experienced a region driven by innovation, collaboration, entrepreneurship, and the vibrant diversity of the people, businesses, and cultures that make Greater Kansas City unlike anywhere else. As international attention continues to generate new business relationships, investment, talent, and opportunity, we'll reflect briefly on a defining moment in our region's history while looking ahead to an even brighter future. 

The evening features a lively networking reception, a seated dinner, and an inspiring program highlighting the leadership and partnerships shaping Kansas City's future. You'll hear reflections from outgoing Board Chair Jeff Simon of Husch Blackwell and a forward-looking vision from incoming Board Chair Dr. Kimberly Beatty, Chancellor and CEO of Metropolitan Community College, as we celebrate the momentum propelling our region into its next chapter. 

The celebration concludes with one of Kansas City's most cherished traditions: the surprise announcement of the 2026 Kansas Citian of the Year, honoring an individual whose leadership and contributions have made an extraordinary and lasting impact on our community.
